Recording For Montage

i was wondering if it would be possible without buying anything to record from my ps3 and save clips i have a http://reviews.cnet.com/desktops/hp-pavilion-elite-m9340f/4505-3118_7-33109780.html?tag=rnav with a/v in ports on the front and a tv tuner dont know if that helps at all if someone could help me figure it out that would be great. The video card also has a HD hook up if that matters

Not that I know of, the only way I know is to get one of them decoder that goes between the video output of the ps3 and the computer, using a video camera, or on some DVD recorders, recording to DVD through that, all of which require some money

I know I can buy a capture card and that junk but I would rather not

I dont think you can record from yur tv to computer without a capture card. A Hava hd is only 80 bucks online.
