recording fuzzy. Help

I am trying to record my home video sound from my camcorder to my computer. i just have a composite to my mic imput and am using audicity to record it. Every time i try to record it it is very fuzzy. (VERY fuzzy) and cant get rid of it. i tried to mess around with it but no luck. Can some one help me

No, i just want the audio. Also i dont want any thing fancy. something free.

I see, in that case is it fuzzy when you play it back just though your cam or on a TV?

Have you tried defferent sets of leads or even tried it on a different computer?

Also if your running XP, try capturing it though windows movie maker. See if that helps.
