Recover discs for Acer Aspire 5100 needed!

Hi there. When I first configured my laptop from new (acer Aspire 5100 - 5103WLMI) I made 2 x recovery discs. I now need to restore the unit to factory-settings, but disc 1 wont read! Anyone out there have copies of the discs? Acer want £50 for these + postage + VAT. This is madness I reckon!

If they cant read your recovery discs,what makes you think they can read copies from someone else.I think you should pay up,at least you know they will work.:)
 
i heard you can repair disks with scratches aslong as there not too deep, i think it would benifit you more researching this meathod as no one is going to give you a copy of theres!!
 
You never said anything about a scratch,i think there is a member on this
site who can repair a scratch so you might still be in luck.Try a search and good luck.:)
