Recovering a password: Windows XP

Yup, my sister's gone and lost her password. And usually it's easy to change through the administrator account, however, my sister changed the adminstrator password and forgot that one too! :mad:

So, is there any way (in Windows XP Home) to recover and/or change the administrator password? Is it in the registry somewhere (encrypted?) or will I have to do something drastic? There's no password recovery software on the machine, and wiping the hard drive is just not an option.

I can still log into my account though, but I don't know if that'll be an advantage.

Any help would be super fantastic!!

though i have never tried it i think you can recover your data using a Live CD of any Linux distro in case you do need to re-install Windows.
