Recovering user files from a previously used slave HDD

Basically, when I got my new computer, I added the hard drive from my old computer and set it up as a slave.

The problem is, the slave drive shows up in "my computer" and I can access most of the folders.....windowd, program files etc. However if i enter documents and settings i am unable to access all my personal files storred in my directory. I have no idea how i can get to my music, pictures or anything.

Is there a way round this?

It's ok, managed to sort it out. Cheers anyway. Does this then mean that you can access other peoples files who use the saem computer as you? Or can it only be done across 2 hard disks?
