Recycle Bin is deleted. ooops

I accidentally deleted my icon for my recycle bin on my desktop. I don't think it was a shortcut. how can i get it back? Is there a recycle bin for the recycle bin?

I'm assuming you have Vista, because you can't just remove the Recycle Bin in XP. You have to try much harder than just deleting it.

If you have Windows Vista, Right Click on the Desktop, Left Click Personalize.

Upper Left corner, Left Click on Change Desktop Icons. Check the Recycle Bin box, Apply, and Ok.

Yeah just do what the guy above said, i had that once, when Vista just gave the icon a little kick off the screen for some reason, i just did what the guy above said and its there again.

In Vista, you can Delete it from the desktop.

It still shows up in Windows Explorer though,

I noticed. It's just the thought that's bizarre--deleting the very thing that stores deleted items.

It doesn't actually show up in the recycle bin after you delete it either. lol

I've never done it but I've read a few different ways of doing it.

I don't mind it not being there with Vista, because you can still
access it using Windows Explorer.

I just found that out a few months ago. I still don't use much. But I always tend to use it for bigger files.
