Red Orchetra: Ostfront

How good is the game? Is the game rated M. Please let me know. If it is I'll get it.

it is rated M. The game is pretty good; I played the DOD:S free weekend thing and the mod version of Red Orchestra was infinitely better to me, now imagine what the retail version will be like after one year of dedicated development and with twice the size of a developer team than the team that developed the mod. The pre-purchase price of the game on steam is like 22.50, the regular price of the game on steam is 25 dollars and the price of the game in stores has a suggested MSRP of 30 bucks. The game should be coming out this march, hopefully in the first 2 weeks.

Its gonna be a great game and so far they have said that they have been selling enough pre-loads that you shouldnt have to worry about finding anyone to play with. So Id look at the trailer, read a couple of the interviews, look at the screen shots and visit the forum.

this is apparently what the official box art looks like:

looks like shit to me I wish they used this one:

well the game is gonna come out mid-late march. Tomorrow they will hopefully have some news on the main game website so stayed tuned.

the game has a release date now, the 14th, I'm thinking of taking a hiatus from CS:S And trying this but I dunno

I was a beta tester and I can tell you the game is absolutely amazing. I played the mod for 2 years and this game blows the mod out of the water. Id check out the main site, they are starting to let beta testers post their screenshots that they took in game.

i was looking at getting it, but it doesnt look like it has that good graphics, it looks like Call of Duty graphics.

This game is more gameplay oriented than graphics oriented. I mean the Unreal 2.5 engine is starting to show its age, but for the tech they're using the graphics are damn good. Im sure once they go to the UE3 (if they make RO for that) you wont need to be worried about complaining about graphics.
