Hi is there any way on the internet to redirect a file to another when browsing? eg. A user is reading a website I want the photo located at something.com/photo.jpg to anothersite.com/anotherphoto.jpg.
Is there a way to do this?
I tried the hosts file but it doesn't work.
P.S i don't own the website but say I am visiting a website - say bbc.co.uk. I want the BBC logo to change to the simpsons logo for example. is there any way to do this so that every site showing the BBC logo redirects that logo to the simpsons logo?
OR
is there any way to modify traffic going to your computer before it reaches there?
thanks

I have a logitech harmony one which doesn't let you change activity icons, but when you update the remote it downloads the images from the internet. I found out that the image for a dvd player is at images.harmonyremote.com/EasyZapper/NewUserInterface/Skins/TonicSkin/images/Configurators/VirtualDvd.png
So i figured if there was a way to redirect a request for this file to another, I could use custom images on my remote.
