Ref: Time Computers..... Pls Read

Hi everyone

i was wondering if anyone could give me some advice.

i have a friend who has a computer from time computers with xp home intsalled on it.....

basically it's now runing like a dog and it's probably due for a reinstall plus it would be handy if the hard drive was partitioned to save on large backups if it ever needed another reinstall..

BUT

It seems they only provide a disc labelled "your windows xp reload/backup cd" this doesn't seem to do a great deal..

And no windows xp disc was supplied...

So... question is...

Am i *&%$ed?

Do i actually own the lisence?

Is it possible for me to reinstall from scratch using this disc? (i don't think so)

or back to question 1, Am i just &^%ed? And i'll have to obtain a copy of win xp?

It all seems a bit crap the service they provide....

Anyone had similiar problems?

Hi

I have a Time Computer too and when ever i had to reboot/reformat i just put the Reload/Backup CD into CD Drive and restarted - half wat through restarting a message will appear - just follow easy instructions.

And remember the first thing to do when u reboot is to install ur Firewall, Antivirus etc.. esspecially before the internet - Windows updates are also important when connected
