Hello

So currently I am about to reformat my computer and need some help on what drivers I need exactly.

My set up goes as followed

Storage I use a Samsung 840, 250gb SSD, secondary I use a 500gb WD blue
CPU is a I5 2500k.
Motherboard is an Asus P8P67-M, no net card so it runs off of what the Mobo provides. same for the Audio.
GPU is fine I know how to get the updated drivers for it.

This is all I need Software for, right?

for my CPU I think I got it down, googled what we need and I found out this:
"INF Update Utility - Primarily for Intel® 6, 5, 4, 3, 900 Series Chipsets"
File name:
infinst_autol.exe
Version:9.2.0.1025

If that is what I need for the CPU then I should be good there, if not please let me know and direct me to where I should get the software
As for the others I am clueless really. Hoping that someone can point me into the direction what I would need to install in terms of Software for these computer parts I got.

Before you reinstall OS,you can also go to the device manager and there you can see the actual name of your hardware and according to that you can find all needed drivers very easy. For example in device manager under...let's say...DISPLAY ADAPTERS (which is your graphics card or onboard graphics) you will see the name of your graphics hardware driver...for example MOBILE INTEL(R) 945 EXPRESS CHIPSET FAMILY.

And now when you know the name, with that you can easily find the neccessary driver(s).

So you can do it this way for all your hardware drivers. But Windows will install most of them for you anyway so the only ones you should pay attention in device manager are:

-CHIPSET (if any)
-GRAPHICS
-SOUND
-LAN NETWORK
-WIRELESS LAN NETWORK (if any)
-and some others...depending if you even need them and what you are using
