Reformating Xp

I want to reformat xp,without removing my files,but i dont have the xp disc.anyway to do this.if i can get a copy of it off limewire will it work the same.
 
No, thats illegal.
Any reformat requires you to save your files on another HD or burn them as the old files will be over written.
 
maybe saying "reinstall windows xp" would be more suitable,ive done it before and i think i had either reinstall or reinstall with format.i already know dl'ing the other xp is illegal.

i've found this windows xp repair 2007 program i'm gunna try,my computer has turned to shit so im trying to fix it.
