reformatted my hp laptop

Hello, I reformatted my laptop yesterday. Can I still get my 5000 plus songs that I had in itunes? I also lost my pictures, and some important documents that I had in folders on my desktop..

Please help,

If you did not yet re-install windows you should be able to get them back no problem, if you did re-install windows you will have issues getting the files back and may only get partial/none back. You can try a recovery program such as Easy Recovery Pro or Recover My Files and if you're really desperate you can send the drive to a company that will do it for you (prices range anywhere from 100-2000$).

Well, the whole point of reformating a hard drive is to erase everything that's on it. However, just after reformating, if nothing else has been written on it yet, there are various programs you can use to get your data back, like the one that's been mentionned before ;-)
