reformatting my toshiba labtop

ok here is the situation.
I put the cd in.
then i restart my labtop.
How come it doesnt run the cd when during the boot up?
It just skip it and start the window.

I used the cd on my pc it boots up when i restart the pc. but how come it doesnt work on my labtop? help plz!

Go into bios on your laptop and make sure it's set to boot up from the CD Drive first.

be carefull with laptops they have a secret partition that stops u from doing formatting. jusy incase it gets robbed

Well not all makes come with a restoration partition. But even if it did, it can be wiped out and one can recover the extra space. I take it that the Tigerrr has the actual restoration CD that he wants to start up with, so maybe it doesnt have a restoration partition.

I havent had to use my cd yet, but try running it in windows

you should press f2 at the bios and choose the boot from cd option that will fix it

U may use Toshiba HWsetup to cange boot priority....in the control panel..
