Having successfully installed W8 on my dual core PC, I am trying to find a way to enable it to install on older PCs that do not have the option to enable PAE,NX and SSE2 in bios. It's obvious there is no way of removing this check from the installation media, the setup will run until it is 90% complete and after restart the error messages are displayed;
Error Code:0x0000005D
Parameters:
0x030F0204
0x756E6547
0x49656E69
0x6C65746E
Installing a HDD with W8 installed will result in the same boot failure.
However, in the registry of a successfully installation there must be a way to edit or delete items and folders to skip this check on boot up.
There are 1000s of entries in the registry and searching them all takes a lot of time, the closest I have got is to search:-
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
HARDWARE
SYSYEM
CURRENT CONTROL SETTINGS
CONTROL
I am sure that this is where the check can be edited and would like any suggestions as what can be done.
