Hi everybody, I'm new to this forum and am looking for a little help. First I hope that my questions are posted in the correct place, if not I do apologize. I just purchased Registry Mechanic 5.2 today and ran its scan. It found about 190 problems. The problem is that it didn't get rid of any old leftover programs in my add/delete program list. I though it would? It also didn't get rid of any old programs on my start menu deleted months ago. When I got in under C/program files there are still files there that shouldn't be there after running Reg. Mech. Is this a good registry cleaner or not? I thought it was but it doesn't seem to get rid of the things I wanted it to. I ran the look for updates for it and ran it again and it found 0 problems. My computer does seem to be running faster but what is this program really supposed to do? I did call the customer service number I could find for it and they were less than helpful, just wanted my e-mail add. to send a reply back after they investigate my problems. Anybody have any answers for me I would sure appreciate it, THANKS!
