reliability issues? whats the best case scenario?

given all the issues with AM2 and compatibilty with hardware, which motherboard would be the best to build an AM2 system with right now?
i just want reliability and performance not necessarily overclocking.
also price is not a factor at all, i will glady spend 200 dollars to get the best motherboard out there.
