all you need is the xp disc set your machine to boot from cd first, you can do this in the bios, then when you restart the machine with the cd in it will boot from the install disc, and guide you through the setup process, do a clean install, and format the drive, it will reinstall xp a fresh, i would also suggest you backup all your drivers first.
