Remember Me .. never works!

Most forums and stuff have this remember me check with the login.. even if i check that and login, the next time i refresh the page i'am logged out.. why this happens?

All the time while you are here and browsing, it wont suddenly cut you off and you have to log back in. While your not on here anymore..you get logged out. Once you come back to the site, it'll log you back in thus, "remebering you."
