remote access question

hey, I have remote access set up. I set it up so someone could teach me how to use a program I have. I was testing it and it works but theres one big problem. When another computer takes control of the computer, that computers screen goes black. I was wondering if there was a way around this so that I could see what was actually going on. It kind of defeats the purpose of what I'm trying to do if i can't see what my buddy is doing. Thanks in advance.

That is a remote administration feature, and that is why you can't see the screen.

Easiest way to get around this I think is just do it over HTTP, like logmein.com

yeah, just use logmein.com its free, and they can view your computer and then you can watch what their doing, with the new version they just released you can even chat with the user controlling your computer. Just sign up, install the client, and send a request to your friend
