Remote Assistance

Hey,

I help my sister out in florida a lot through remote assistance and now she wants to have excel on her computer. I have an excel disc at my house and would like to install it on her computer. I was wondering if I could put it in my cd drive and run the installer on her computer. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Alex

Not Sorry That Is Impossable, Her Computer Is Not Reading Your Computer Bios, And It Wont Pick It Up.

You Could Make A .iso, And Send The .iso To Here And Then She Burns It On To Cd Then Install It Like That.

Or Add All The Files Into A .zip File And Install Like That

That would be against the law. Copying copyrighted materials, and installing more than once from the CD... not a good idea.

try the FREEWARE version called openoffice... www.openoffice.org

BUT, if you have a CD with something like word documents, or pictures of the family reunion.. and you wanted to share it with her... You could map a network drive...

Of coarse there is a lot of setup to do this.... AND IT WOULD BE SLOW!

As others have said, its not possible to do that. And if it was, the time it would take to transfer all the contents of the cd to hers over the internet would be incredibly slow.
