Remote control for PC.

Hello.

I will like to see if i can get some remos control for the computer. We have a USB in the front of the PC so if it requires one its fine. I dont really nned a fancy one. I will be happy with Play/pause/fastford/backward/next chapter/previous chapter/stop/colume higer or lower/ ....jsut the basics.

I live in canada...... So how much do i expect for a remote? could i use a normal one? (and jsut buy something to plug something in the PC ?)

www.futureshop.com will be my favourite place to buy it there, since i got giftcards.

Any other information about remotes for PCs will be aprreciated. so will pictures! :P Also, assume that i am a NOOBY, so can oyou explain well please (i am also french). Don't need a big paragraph, jsut easy to understand. :D

Isn't there a canadian version of newegg? I know they have lots of really nice remotes there. I got mine from there for about $35 USD. It's a Mac...something Keypoint.

I dont feel like building my own....it seems scary....

But do any of you guys know if i can get just a, ummm, something that you plug into the USB or whatever and it will catch the signals of a remote. Cause then i could get pretty much any remotes...

One thing you might be able to do is purchase a wireless mouse and just use that to interface with the player on the computer. I do that quite frequently when I'm watching videos from my bed, while going to sleep at night. :)
 
well i dont really want a mouse, we dont really have plac eon our PC to put that thing (that receives the - umm- the things, you know, signals).

I really want a remote.

Can you get a Remote receiver for the computer

Any other ideas?
