remote control?

i was just wondering if anyone knew of a way to be able to control the media player on my computer with a remote. i have my system hooked up to my stereo via speaker wire. my stereo is in my room but the computer is in the living room.
and i don't feel like walking from my room to the living room everytime i wanna change songs.
anyone got any ideas?

ya i was going to do that to but i have no money heres what u need to buy.....

well the first one is about $41.00 and i includesRemote
Control : 1, Irda Receiver: 1 iMON software, Batteries, Manual
the second one is $51.11 with out a remote or computing softwere
