Every time I try to connect my computer the the other computer i get this error:
untitled.JPG1.jpg

What is this?

INFO:
my Notebook: XP PRO SP2, Using wireless.
The desktop: XP MCE 05 SP2, Using Netgear wireless Router,
Sharing files/printers works perfectly using wireless router.

I dont know how, but i have fixed the problem. I entered the compters IP.
Lets say that my notebook is alpha and the other computer is beta which I want to control the alpha from the alpha(notebook).

There is a problem now:
When i connect to alpha, I am able to control it but, the beta computer logs out and there is the blue log in screen. How every im still able to control beta´s desktop but what if there is a user sitting on computer beta and he wants my help to learn him something in Photoshop?

I have thought about helping ppl out with remote access, sounds cool enough to me. Using the IP is probably the best method.

I use remote assistance a lot. Most of my clients are a distance away and most of the time just require a small fix and using remote assistance will work.

That is normal, when you use RDC into anothe work station it logs that user out because only one person can be using the computer at one time. It is also a security measure so if you are doing any under the hood work the user on the other end can't se what you are doing.

If you are on the same network, ie same LAN. Just go to Start > run > type mstsc > then simply \\computer name and it will connect. Of course you will have to be on the same workgroup as well.

If you want to access your computers from over the ineternet you need to forward port 3389 for RDC and set up dynamic dns with someone so you can track your WAN IP.

www.dyndns.org is a place to start
