Remote Desktop -- Keep Remote Computer Logged In?

I'm looking for a way to keep the remote computer logged in when connecting via Remote Desktop from another computer, similar to how VNC works. Is this possible with Remote Desktop? Or does it automatically log the remote computer off?

I don't know the answer and never used it. BUT i did experiment with some trials a while back with RealVNC. Ive never had a problem with the retail and log in to a user name. I will get into this later. I tried a a mod available from RealVNC that would allow me to travel and turn on the computer. It will come up later. I will bring it up.
again and explain how. the motherboard has to support it. And im talking about turning on the computer and using remotely. from a say another country. Not ready to discuss now.
And yes, i did do it but did not buy it.
Yet.......
