remote desktop pops up every 5 minute

I have pentium 4 running windows xp professional in a domain.
I have a remote desktop connection connecting my computer with the computer of the company I work for. When I am logged in to their server using this remote desktop, that connection keeps popping up every 5 minutes,
which is enormously ennoying when I'm working in another program.

Anyone who knows how I can stop that remote desktop from
popping up automatically?

window that covers the whole screen

I say it's poppping up,
but it's not really like that,
it's like it opens itself to a full screen.

It is a window that is minimalized that
opens automatically and covers the whole screen.

It think that it is an option in the remote desktop utility,
but I don't find which one it is.
