Remote Desktop

Hiya,

I want to transfer files between computers and on my Windows XP PC I have remote desktop but I was told there is no remote desktop for Windows 7. Is there any way I can connect to XP on my windows 7 account? If not is there any other ways of doing this? I don't have a big enough USB stick to transfer all the files and I would like to just access some files so I'm hoping there is a way.

Just setup file sharing between the 2.

Thank you, super helpful! I did notice one thing however, it said Windows 7 and XP Pro, I have XP Home currently, but I think I have the pro disk.. thing is if I install pro I lose all the files and then its pointless.. correct? Can I do this with home?

yes, you can do this with home as well. no need to install pro.

As long as you use a Workgroup and not a Domain, XP Home is all you need. The major difference between Home and Pro is the ability to login to a domain.
