Remote Destop Connection

Hello,
Ok... here is what i want to do:
i want to be able to connect to my computer(be able to see the destop) from my college computer. the only thing is im behind a proxy. how would i go about doing this. i carnt install software at college, so i guessing i need to install a program on my computer, then somehow need to access it using a webpage over the internet.
Is there anyway of doing this??

Yes use a free company offer like www.logmein.com

You could use telnet to access it. Just make sure port 23 is open on your computer you want to connect to. Just go to Start>Run>CMD> type in"telnet then the ip number for your computer (note:do not put a port it will automaticly go to port 23) and press enter. You will then be prompted with a login and password screen. Type your login name and your password and that should do the trick .
