hi guys, new here, not really a techy so will be asking some questions that might sound real basic but bare with me. Hope you can help.

Scenario

I sit within a corprate network with 2 offices, 1 in London and the other in Europe. I am in London.
London is having its internet line upgraded to a dedicated leased line.

If there are any problems with the connection, and London loses its connection to the outside world can Europe still get access to my computer in London provided I can get an internet connection via a 3g card?

Hope that makes sense, i need a solution as europe has the tech guys and the suggestion is if we lose connection then they have a way in, to make any configuration changes required on the LAN in London.

Many thanks fo any suggestions.

Yeah, you could do that. You'd just want to setup a remote desktop connection on your pc so that they can take over your computer. Once in they would be able to access your local LAN and make changes to router and firewall configs if for some reason the main internet connection went down.
