Removable harddrive?

you know when you plug in a usb drive in XP you get a little icon in the sys tray that says removable device installed and you can click on it to unmount it. Well my SATA haddrive shows up in this icon. i was wondering why this is happening. its not a problem, im just confuesed as to why it would even show up there.

Please search the forums next time. This is a very common issue. SATA are hot-swapable, thus the "safely remove hardware" option shows up for them.
