Hi all,

I need your help. I have got a problem with my old fan as the plastic where the holes goes on the corners of the fan they has been snapped, so I would like to remove the fan starter with the pcb to put it on the new fan case. Is that possible to do that?

Here is what it look like:

I have tried to get them off but it won't come out. I would like to know how I can get them off so I can put them on the new fan case.

Thanks in advance.

Um....

You might need to clarify. I don't understand what you're trying to do. If you have a new fan it should have everything it needs to function? And if not buying a 7 dollar fan is going to be easier and work better than ghetto rigging something.

This only makes sense to me if you have another faulty fan, but with the casing intact(?)
But yeah, as Darren said, it's not like fans are the most expensive computer part. You can get some good cheap ones, or some great pricey ones. Most likely a newer fan will be quiter as well.
