mornin`

I have two hard drives in one of my computers. I have a 6gb hard drive with the working operating system on it (XP), the other 80gb hard drive has also got XP(corrupted) on it along with a lot of stuff that I want to keep. Can I remove the xp from the 80gb hard drive without losing all the other stuff? I know how to format the drive but that would wipe it clean. As for "backing up", I haven`t got a clue!
If I could move the XP from the 6gb drive onto the 80gb drive would it over write the corrupted XP already on it or would it go to its own seperate place leaving the corrupted XP in place and if so would it cause problems?
Hope I`ve made that clear:o

I guess you have a XP cd, so you could disconnect the 6Gb HDD and boot up with the XP cd. Then choose repair and it should fix the XP you have on the 80Gb HDD.

if you are not using the os on the 80gb you can just manually delete the entire windows folder and any other folder that doesnt have the files you use. since it is not using the system files on that drive you dont have to restart.
