Removing a torrent program...

on my family computer there is a torrent program which i am not pleased about and would like to remove.

so as you do i went control panel>add remove progs and then removed as appropiate.

so now the program is still in the task bar at the bottom and its usable but the funny thing is when i go into the add remove progs its not there!

has this happened to anyone else before? what can i do to get rid of this? im using XP!

It probably just erased the add/remove program entry.

A quick and dirty way is to stop the process, then manually delete the program from the Program Files folder. Granted there may still be a few left over files, but the program shouldnt be usable.

And if you cant delete it, download Unlocker.

ahh the program files! i need some common sense! thanks man! deleting it now!
