Removing Lyrics From A Song?

Is there any way that I can remove the singing from a song that I have. As in I want the instrumental version but I can't find it. Thanks

There are programs out there that claim to do this, but i doubt you'd find one that can do it well. The ones ive used before just quieten down the singing, and badly at that

I'll have to do some digging, because there is a program, which will lower the vocal, but not completely remove them.. I think you would have to be a dog to hear them though... Let me see if I still have it...

its the best your gonna get, unless you want to manually remove the lyrics wavelength from the song...but i wouldn't suggest that

Audacity?

Hey,

I actually had the audacity program and didn't know it could do it. When I went to try and figure it out, I couldn't. Anyone know how?
