Removing Recycle Bin

Download Tweakui and install it. Load it up. Then on the left, select the desktop bit and uncheck Recycle Bin. Tweakui also has alot of other features too.

you could have just right-clicked on the destop-->arrange icons by-->and uncheck show desktop icons. does the same thing.

They could just disable putting deleted things in the Recycle Bin and maybe they're responsible enough to not delete anything they don't mean to.

Ok problem, I want the recycle bin back, but I cannot find a way to do it. The programs listed before wont make it come back!! HELP!

1.Click Start, and then click Run. 2.In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK. 3.Locate the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace
4.Right-click the registry key that you located in step 3, point to New, and then click Key. 5.Type {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}, and then press ENTER.6.Click the new {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} key that you created in step 5.7.In the right pane, double-click the (Default) entry. 8.In the Edit String dialog box, type Recycle Bin in the Value data box, and then click OK. 9.Quit Registry Editor.

The Recycle Bin icon reappears on the Windows desktop.

lol:D... changed your mind already?

Isn't there an esier way of doing this? I'm not sure what it does axactly but I think that this procedure might remove it without the need of additional software.
Right-click on the Desktop> Select Properties> Select Desktop [Tab]> Click Customize Desktop> and then click on Clean Desktop Now (in the the Desktop Cleanup area).
Is it just me or does anyone else agree that that is the easier option?

All the "clean desktop now" does is remove unused shortcuts

True but then you cannot place any other icon there even temporarily.
