I run Windows Vista Ultimate and I recently bought Vista 64-bit, and when I start the computer when I'm choosing a boot option, both names are Microsoft Windows Vista, I would like to rename them so that one says 32-Bit and one says 64-Bit. How would I do that? And, is there a way to delete my old 32 bit OS and keep the 64-bit?

EasyBCD

And, is there a way to delete my old 32 bit OS and keep the 64-bit?

Right-click Computer -> Select Manage -> Storage -> Disk Management -> Right click the 32 bit partition and select Delete Volume.

Open up windows explorer where you can view all the files on your computer. Open the file called boot.ini Then change the area that says microsoft windows vista to whatever you want. There should be two microsoft windows vista names in quotes, you can change them to whatever you want.

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
