You are gonna be paying an arm and a leg to dell for that now thats its after the fact. Why not get a regular dvd burner instead of the bluray? Will be a little cheaper on you. Heck, at that price it would be cheaper to get a new laptop with bluray already in it.

I don't think he needs one that bad, does he? Not when you get one for a desktop at newegg for around $150... Have him build a desktop.
