replaced mobo and now comp. dead

i just replaced my mobo and when i start up my comp, it gives me a blue screen with a message on it for got what it said, and i NEED that comp to work and i can't lose the files on the hdd and no reinstall please

Take out the CMOS battery for like 5 mins and put it back in and try again.

If the battery doesn't work, unplug your hdd and boot up and tell me what happens.

if you have replaced the mobo and just pluged in the hdd with windows installed on it from your old mobo it wont work the best thing you can do is put the hdd into a pc as slave and take of what you want to keep then put the hdd back into your pc and install windows, haven said that it might be worth trying a windows repair but i dont hold much hope in that.
