hi all,
My old computer just broke and i'm looking for a replacement computer with a quad core at least and a few gaming specs just to play cod and Gta not to fancy my limit would be $200 so I wouldn't mind if it was an older computer any suggestions?

I'm not in need of a fancy gaming comp I've already got a pretty good graphics card and I don't know exactly what's wrong but I think it might be power but otherwise don't know I've tested mobo and gfx card and replaced mobo I just want room for 4 ram slots and a mediocre cpu but nothing fancy it doesn't have to be brand new

So you are saying you already have a video card to throw in the new system? Might be cheaper to fix old system and we might be able to help you if we can figure out what exactly happened and tell you where to look for problems.

Yeh I've replaced the motherboard and checked montitor and video cable because it's not a vga cable it's the other that I can't remember so i have an adapter that has worked in the past I have three so it's none of those the only things it could be now is power cable which is an atx kettle plug is what's required or cup which I don't want to replace so if the power don't work then I've given up because I've been working on it for a year and some other info the monitor detects it when it plugs so it turns on but doesn't beep or show video on screen

If you have changed motherboard then its either power supply, cpu, memory, short somewhere or another failed piece of hardware such as hard drive. When you installed the motherboard, you used the standoffs between case and motherboard to prevent motherboard from shorting out on case? What motherboard and cpu do you have?

Yes I used standoffs in the motherboard the motherboard we replaced wasn't actually broken I was doing it just in case ( pfk asus ) i'm not sure what the cpu is but the comp has 4gb of ram and is a quad core
