replacement laptop battery

Hi, First time post, My Acer Aspire 5542G laptop battery needs to be replaced. I know this because the battery charge only lasts about 5 minutes before I need to plug in the mains.

I looked on Amazon for a compatible battery but there are a wide range of prices with different voltages and MaH ratings all claiming to be compatible with the Aspire 5542gG. So, what I hope to learn from the forum is which batteries to avoid and which are recommended? Thanks in advance for all advice,
