hi. i just bought an asus n12 router to replace the linksys wrt54g due to its support with tomato. however, when i did a simple replace the router was not able to obtain dhcp. i get stuck with no internet connection. what can be the problem? my modem is dlink model dsl 2320b if that matters. thanks for any help

note.... i didn't use the cd (not really sure if it's useful as i never had to use one) and also i can't seem to find my external cd drive (using netbook).

update: i think it may need a "mac cloning." i'll do that tomorrow as i'm dead tired from flying back from overseas. any suggestions are welcome, though

UPDATE:

solved. turns out to be mac cloning. tricky part was the last printed digit on the router was different..... had to go into setup to figure it out
