Replacing computer

Hi, I have a fairly old machine, with a Radeon 9250, and a SB audigy4 which is its best part. I'm wondering how much I could sell it for, with the 19" flatscreen CRT monitor, and also how I could get a really nice computer for a good price. I know a lot of people use newegg, but I live in Canada and have never used it. If things are in Canadain dollars that would help, thanks. I built one online (I didn't buy it) worth 4000 with a 21inch widescreen LCD on memory express, but that's a lot of money. I'm basically looking for top-of-the line, but not too close 'cause I'm not a hardcore gamer and I don't have much money. Basically something with the best x2 processor ( I want AMD) and good quality RAM, and a really good video card. The physx card I'll add later. Thanks.

The section to buy and sell systems and components is at http://www.computerforum.com/computer-equipment-sale/

For a beginner you would need to outline a total price range(Canadien) that you plan to spend. TigerDirect has a Canadien site seen at http://www.tigerdirect.ca/ Another vendor located in Canada is found at http://www.memoryexpress.com/index.php?PageTag=&SID=

$4,000 does sound like you spent far too much by not being a good bargain hunter by comparing prices at various sites. Even newegg can be high on certain items while others will carry the same for less.
