Ive had my computer for roughly 2 years now and i have noticed a slow down in performance. I'm basically wondering how often I should replace my hardware of the computer like the CPU, RAM, and anything else that may have worn down over time. Any advice will be appreciated.

I suggest you check out your hard drive first. Some people don't realize how moving things off and onto your hard drive often or almost filling up your hard drive can slow down your performance.
Have you defragmented your hard drive or cleared some things off of it? That may help. I don't think two years for a totally new computer is long enough to wear it down significantly, based on my own experience.

Things like your CPU, memory, motherboard dont like wear out and become slower in a 2 year time period. I mean they either work or they dont. Now a Harddrive depending on how much use, it has a wear out factor. You say it roughly 2 years old. Have you ever done a Clean Install of the OS. Windows is like your basement when you have 3 kids liviving at home, over a period of time you cant even see the walls anymore:D. Most of my computers I do a Clean Install about every 6 months.
