replacing screen

I have an Dell E5440 that needs screen replaced, see pic. I bought this used, not sure if it has LCD or HD screen. I can buy the whole screen assembly with hinges and cables about as cheap as just buying the panel. Will either screen work w/ my laptop? Of course I would buy the HD if so. Thanks

Best thing to do would be to remove bad screen and punch in part number to get specifics on it. You'll know if its HD or not.
