Requesting a computer build.

i have a budget of approximately 700$,
but i don't need an optical drive(usb boot everything),a monitor, keyboard, or speakers. so essentially no accessories

i just need the core parts:
preferences:
1.Case: one with preinstalled fans(possibly glowing)?
2. Graphics Card:
3. CPU: 3.2~3.4?
4. MOBO:
5. RAM: 8gb
6. HDD: ~1tb?
7. Power Supply: i dont knwo what a good psu should be,

computers going to be ran for basic needs, maybe a little gaming but i want it to be superbly FAST, so the gpu does not really have to be top notch.

I would get an i3 or some amd processor like the fx6300 and go for a better video card. Going for amd will also mean that the motherboard will be probably cheaper so you'd get even more money to spend on the video card which is a pretty vital component.

I just know that if he isnt going to much gaming and GPU taxing stuff but whats a blazing fast PC he should go with better CPU and such rather than put all his money into a great GPU

in gaming tho, he said only slight gaming, also i prefer Intel over AMD, and you left out important components like CPU fan that cost money, i made an all around good PC, he doesn't need a 7850 if he is doing casual gaming.

If i wanted i could make a better gaming PC lol, but that wasn't what he asked for

6450s CAN'T GAME. That build is the worst I have seen in a while for $700. A little gaming probably includes games like Call of Duty, not Solitare.

If you actually felt like spending some time hunting for refurbished parts on e-bay you could get a rig like mine (the one in the signature) for about $600 because that's how much I got it for :D, and I absolutely agree with PCunicorn 6450 is CRAP (the i5 3570k integrated graphics are probably better) not a gaming card at all for any kind of gaming. I would say for light gaming don't go below something like a gts450/hd6670 or if you don't mind having dx10 only and you wanna save some money you could go for something like a used hd 4890 which is like $80 and it's a dx10 beast meaning it will probably play all games on max in dx10 mode.

OK here is what I recommend for you:

1. Corsair Carbide 300R

2. AMD 7770 or 7790 or 7850 (get the one which you can afford)

3. AMD FX-4300 or FX-6300 (could go i3 too)

4. For the FX-4300.6300: Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 if you can afford it, otherwise Gigabyte 970A-UD3

For the i3: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H or GA-Z77X-D3H or GA-Z77-D3H (depending on what you can afford)

5. 8GB of 1600MHz or 1866MHz RAM (2x4GB). Corsair Vengeance and G.Skill RipJaws are both good.

6. Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 RPM. If you want the PC to be fast I would go for an SSD as well as an HDD if you've got money to spare: the SanDisk Extreme 120GB is good, so is the OCZ Vertex 4 and the Samsung 840 Pro. Try to get at least 120GB.

7. Corsair CX 500M or CX 600M (I'd recommend the CX 600M if you go for the 7850, the 500M will be fine for a 7790 and the 7770)
