Hi,

How do I reset my BIOS password? I'm running ubuntu on Linux.
For anything I try it asks for the 'Setup Password'

Thanks in advance!!:good:

Sorry, but we can't help you there. You will need to contact the manufacturer of the computer or motherboard for support. The OS or model of wireless router you have has nothing to do with your bios password.

Ok so there no way to surpass this step? Can I install OS Windows disc w/o setup password?

If the computer won't boot past the password entry then how will you install windows? The setup password stops anyone from turning the system on except for the person who entered the password in the first place.

So you turn the pc on and it immediately asks for a password? If you set the password then you should know it, correct?
