Resets????

Hi
Well I got this newish PC and its got

448 MB Ram
Pentium III Processor 930 MHz
20 GB Hard Drive with 10GB free space.
Windows XP

Well What It Is... Sometimes it will just randomly reset itself without warning. I want to know what the cause of this is because it is really annoying.
Please message back somebody, thanks xxxx

Im sure thats what he means.

Check to make sure that the CPU heatsink/fan is securly attached to the CPU, since overheating could cause the computer to restart.
 
well depending on the board if someone installed an extra chip of ram before it was purchased that could be the problem. i once had a board that didn't like 2 different sized ram chips and reset my computer randomly. i pulled out one of the chips and the problems went away. Just a thought tho this probably isn't whats wrong with yours but it's something to check just in case.
