resolution probelm

ok I have a 22" acer monitor...with 9800 GX2 for my VGa...i jus reinstalled my OS because I was havin sum problems....problems fixed now...everytime I restart my computer it formats into a smaller reslotuion....my reslostuion i use is 1680x 1050...then it seems to restart itself..i dunno why? any thoughts?

You might want to check your Graphics card driver software. See if there are any settings under it that is making it do that. And also maybe an update might do the trick? Also, poke around in the control panel area and check stuff under display properties or something like that. What OS are you currently running on?
