I just built this new Comp., my first time, P4 Prescott 3.0E, X800Pro, 580W PSU, 2 CD/DVD Drives, 2 HDD (not on raid, both IDE), Floppy, PCI card reader, Sound Blaster Live!, Silentower, with dual silentcats, 4 Case fans, ASRock P4v88+, 1 gig Valueselect, Fan controller/temp display, and a whole mess of stuff like cold cathode, led light, lit round IDE cables. Just got the system up, and now it is restarting either just as I load a game, or after 10-15 minutes of playing. Just crashes. I am stumped here... I kno I got a prescott, but its got a silent tower, and I dont even have it OC'ed right now. Don't kno if it matters, my Ram is PC 2100 (dont ask, from old comp). Im suspecting my GPU is throttling, I just dont know though, anyone think they can help, PLEASE post...

install speed fan or MBM5 and see what the temps are like on ure computer. it might be heat related, even tho i see u have 4 case fans. just an idea :)

it mite be your video card. i had to go from a 6200 to 6600 because it didnt have a fan and would overheat and shut down some games.

I know redrider773 and he has a LOT of extra stuff in his case- 2 LED fans, a MASSIVE heatsink w/ 2 fans on it, a cold cathode, a nice LED temperature meter, PCI Fan, and countless other crap in his expansion slots, not to mention a prescott P4..... I would assume that he would need to have a VERY stong PSU to handle all of that- he currently has this PSU

That is what I'm thinking. Read what Preator said and do what he said. (just so you know I don't know what he means by "try pumping vCore a notch" but he knows his stuff and I'd listen to him). If you read back they suggest that your graphics card was too hot but then they turn on your PSU and say it might be a little weak (NOT IN WATTAGE BUT IN THE AMPAGE ON THE +12V RAIL)
