Restoring windows folders

I'm running windows 7 ultimate, I installed a program to sort music and it messed up everything. It changed and renamed all the folders. is there a way to restore the folders to their original state. I tried system restore but it has no affect on folders.

i also tried Recovery software and also didnt work.

SO can anyone help to somehow restore the folders and names as they were.

How many folders? Say more about what the issue is. What is causing you concern/problem. I don't have a magic bullet but if you explain I might have suggestions.
