Retail AMD CPU question...

I plan to buy the Athlon64 X2 3800+ (Retail) and i would like to know if it comes with a heatsink or do i have to buy one seperately.
I think that one does come with it if it's a retail CPU but i'm just double-checking.

Yes, it does, almost all retail CPU's come with a heatsink.

you dont NEED to, you can get a fairly good overclock on stock cooling without the temp getting to bad. i oc'd mine and its only at 41C on stock.

If it comes in a box, it will prbly come with a heatsink, if you are buying it and the picture shows just the chip, then no.
